​​The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Independence Day of our Country were celebrated at Pushpashrama
Independence Day reminds of a social freedom. The Assumption reminds us of a life lived in the freedom of the Spirit! For the Lord said “The truth shall set you free!” And the truth is, we are made for heaven.

The solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Independence Day of our Country were celebrated at Pushpashrama with great grandeur and glory. Fr Rector celebrated the Holy Mass and broke the Word of God….challenging the faithful to remain sinless and find true freedom in God and Mary. Fr Ryan Pais OCD, concelebrated with us. The shrine was full to its capacity. The brothers made all the faithful to experience the heavenly bliss through their melodious and angelic singing. After the Holy mass the National Flag was hoisted by the Rector. Br Sanjay Gasper delivered an inspiring and a heart touching speech to all the Indians. At the end of the program the Play Home Kids enacted like the freedom fighters and sweets were distributed to all the faithful.
