40 Hours of Perpetual Adoration at Infant Jesus Shrine
On 15 April, the Infant Jesus Shrine commenced its deeply moving 40
Hours Eucharistic Adoration, a spiritually enriching devotion held
during Holy Week (Tuesday-Wednesday) to prepare the faithful for the
sacred mysteries of the Easter Triduum. The event began with a Holy Mass
at 6:00 AM, followed by 40 consecutive hours of perpetual adoration,
where devotees took turns in prayerful vigil, guided by different
devotional groups. Throughout the 40 hours, the Carmelite community of
Pushpashrama made themselves available for confessions, offering
spiritual renewal. The profound experience culminated in a powerful
Healing Service and concluding Holy Mass at 9:00 PM on 16 April. The
overwhelming response reflected the enduring grace of the Eucharist,
stirring hearts and deepening faith as the faithful from near and far
united in worship and adoration.
