8th July, 2013, Lectio Brevis and the Inauguration of the new Academic year
Inaugural Mass for the academic year 2013-14 and the Lectio Brevis was held on the 8th of July. Rev. Fr. Archibald Gonsalves, Provincial presided over the Holy Eucharist and the Lectio Brevis. During the Holy Eucharist Rev. Fr. Sylvester D’ Souza preached an inspiring homily. He highlighted the role of faith and reason in the Church teachings. Rev. Fr. Santan Lopez, OFM Cap, Rector of Kripalaya presented the Lectio Brevis on the theme the role of faith and reason in search of truth. He highlighted the need for an experience of God which goes beyond the categories of human reason. Fathers from Sadhbhavana, Kushalnagar, Dhyanavana and Dhyanasadhana were present for inaugural mass and the program. Fr. Gregory D’ Souza from Carmel Hill community added colour to the day.
