Faith and Freedom Unite at Pushpashrama
On 15 August, Pushpashrama joyfully celebrated with devotion and
patriotism the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
and the 69th Independence Day of our nation. The day began at 7:00 a.m.
with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass in honor of Our Lady, offering heartfelt
gratitude to God for His blessings upon our lives and our country.
Following the Eucharist, the community, together with the devotees of
Infant Jesus, gathered for the flag-hoisting ceremony. The national flag
was unfurled by the chief guest, Rev. Fr. Lancy Lewis, proudly waving in
the morning breeze. Br. Glavin then delivered an inspiring message on
the true meaning of freedom, reminding everyone that genuine liberty is
rooted in truth and love. The celebration concluded with the singing of
the national anthem and a patriotic song a heartfelt tribute to our
beloved nation.
Inauguration of talent s day
The Talent s Day was inaugurated at Pushpashrama at 9:30 a.m. in a
grand manner. Rev. Fr. Oswald Crasta, Rector, delivered an uplifting
message highlighting the importance of participation, healthy
competition, and the joy of sharing one s gifts. This event set the tone
for a day brimming with enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and friendly rivalry.
