The Carmelites of Pushpashrama celebrated the feast of our lady of Mount Carmel on Sunday, 17th of July 2011.The Eucharistic celebration was at 8 am in English .The church was full with sisters, youth, children and laity. The rector of pushpashrama- Fr. Joe Tauro was the main celebrant and the preacher .The scapulars were blessed and distributed to the people. Fr. Wilfred Frank, the shrine in-charge concluded the year of the youth 2010-2011-with a prayer. The youth- holding lighted candles in their hands-made a promise of "faithfulness" to the church in working for evangelization in this year 2011-12- which is dedicated to Missions.
