1st day of novena in preparation to the feast of
Infant Jesus of Prague at Infant Jesus Shrine, Mysore
The 1st day novena was on the 1st of Jan 2015 Thursday. The novena
masses were all in the evening. At 4.45pm there was flag hoisting. Rev.
Fr. Valentine Kumar did the flag hoisting ceremony, which followed the
Tamil mass and Mysore Tamil choir group sung the mass choir. The second
mass was at 6.00pm in Kannada Rev. Fr. Vijay OFM presided over the
Eucharist and preached beautiful homily. The choir was done by the
Mysore Cathedral Choir Group, under the leader ship of Mr. Felix. The
third mass was in English at 7.00 pm. Rev. Fr. Paul D’souza celebrated
the Eucharist and Rev. Fr. Alwyn Aranha preached a beautiful homily. At
the end there Eucharistic benediction and anointing.
