Palm Sunday Ushers in Holy Week at Infant Jesus Shrine
The Holy Week celebrations at the Infant Jesus Shrine commenced on April
13 with the deeply meaningful liturgy of Palm Sunday, as devotees
gathered in prayer at the grotto of Our Lady for the blessing of the
palms. A solemn procession, led by the celebrants, then moved into the
church. Rev. Fr. Oswald Crasta, the main celebrant, in his homily,
emphasized the profound significance of the day and urged the faithful
to immerse themselves in the Paschal Mystery. He encouraged all to walk
alongside Christ in His final earthly journey, offering their own
struggles and sacrifices in union with His redemptive love, thereby
deepening their spiritual connection to the heart of Holy Week.
