Celebration of Patroness Day – St. Thérèse of Lisieux
On October 1, 2025, the Pushpashrama community solemnly celebrated the
feast of our beloved patroness, St. Thérèse of Lisieux. The celebration
began at 11:30 a.m. with a Eucharistic Thanksgiving Mass, presided over
by Rev. Fr. Alfred Menezes, OCD, the novice master. In his homily, he
highlighted the enduring spiritual legacy of St. Thérèse and its
relevance for our religious life today.
The liturgical celebration was enriched by the presence of several
fathers from the Mysore region, as well as the family of Br. Nihal,
philosopher, who joined the community in prayer and thanksgiving.
Following the Eucharist, the community and guests gathered for a
fellowship meal, marked by joy, fraternity, and gratitude.
The feast of St. Thérèse was thus a meaningful occasion to renew our
devotion to our patroness and to recommit ourselves to living her
“little way” of love and trust in God.
